Lynn Hansen is our systems and operations manager. She has a Masters Degree in Operations Research from Columbia University and a BA in Mathematics from Montclair State University. She has 25 years of software and systems engineering experience, project management experience, and technical management experience at AT&T/Lucent Technologies. She is also an accredited teacher of Mathematics at the secondary level. She joined The Omar Group in 2002.

Lynn says …I oversee the operations side of our business to guarantee that the work produced by all staff members is delivered accurately, timely and professionally. I am known for not taking any excuses from employees for sloppiness or a less-then-great attitude. If there are ever any problems, I will go head-over-heels to see that they are taken care of. Chris Briamonte is our Certified Financial Planner with a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Villanova University. He has over 10 years experience in the financial services industry and over 30 Million dollars in client assets under management. Chris is a sought out speaker and trainer at meetings for CPA’s and financial advisors across the state.

Chris says……I cannot think of a more fulfilling and satisfying profession than that of a financial planner. Everyday I am humbled and motivated by the confidence my clients place in me to assist them in meeting their financial goals and aspirations. It drives me to do the best job I can.

Ingrida Valdmanis is an assistant accountant at The Omar Group. She has experience in various industries, mostly in the healthcare. Over the years, Ingrida has taken various computer and accounting courses.

Ingrida says ……the healthcare industry is probably where I acquired the skills of thoroughness and accuracy. When you are working with patients, there is really no room for error. I have brought that same mindset to the accounting profession and this allows me to produce the work with a high reliability factor. Patients require good care and so do small business owners. That is the reason I am so glad to be part of the team at The Omar Group because every member of this team cares.

Ellen Herrick is our QuickBooks doctor. She has a Masters Degree in Computer science from Purdue University and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Ellen has worked as a District Manager and as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T and Lucent for 19 years. During the last 3 years, Ellen has applied her strong analytical and computer skills to the accounting and tax profession.

Ellen says……an accounting software system that is properly installed and correctly used can be a tremendous asset to a small business. Due to my strong background working with computers, I am quickly able to diagnose computer software for potential problems and devise simple techniques for improved and more accurate performance. This saves lots of time and aggravation and the business owner is able to get key information instantaneously!

Elliot Krauss is one of two senior tax professionals. He has a Masters Degree in Finance/Investments from Bernard M. Baruch College and a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Long Island University. He has more than 30 years of financial systems and reporting, commodity management and purchasing experience while employed by Merck & Co., Inc. the Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company. He joined our team in January 2005.

Elliot says……It has been very gratifying to help clients with the preparation of their personal tax returns. My interaction with clients and the discussions I have had on tax saving strategies has resulted in many fulfilling client relationships.

Susan Sweeney is one of two senior tax professionals. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Kean University. The 2008 tax season will be Susan’s second tax season with us. She brings with her over fifteen years of tax preparation experience.

Susan says……. I instinctively knew when I first joined the Omar Group/TAX-SAVERS that it was going to be a great place to work in. Each team member is highly skilled at his or her job, really very nice to work with and have the clients’ best interest at heart.

Elaine Macina is one of two administrative assistants here. She has over 30 years of experience in various administrative support positions.

Elaine says…..I am committed to having an orderly and organized office. Since I am the person who handles incoming phone calls as well, I get to talk to all clients and to get to know them and develop a rapport with each of them.

Maryann Bath is one of our Administrative Assistants. She recently joined the team after retiring from the Perth Amboy Public School System after 33 years as an Education Secretary.

Maryann says ….. Having been a tax client of The Omar Group/TAX-SAVERS since 2002, I knew first hand what I had expected as a client ……professionalism, courtesy and knowing that the client was top priority.
